RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES FOR BIOLOGY UNDERGRADUATES

1. Research Options for Biology Majors. There are five (5) ways to participate in research as a Biology major at the University of Georgia. Here are listed approximately 200 campus organizations, departments, institutes, research support offices, and companies that may be of value as you expand your knowledge and experience in life science research. Some of these 200 may be open to involving students in one or more of the options listed above in Research Options for Biology Undergraduates.

4. Life science/Biomedical research at UGA is organized into 40 categories ranging from Alzheimers to vision. There are extensive listings on research in cancer, neuroscience, and imaging. This list will help Biology majors identify research in areas of interest.
