Careers for Social Changes

Biology majors are increasingly interested in careers that will "make a difference." Below is a list of organizations which aim to improve society, government, the economy, and the environment.

Education in biological sciences is directly relevant to those organizations focused on the environment, health, science, and technology. For those other organizations not focused on those issues, education in biological science can provide an analytical approach relevant to a wide range of concerns. Biological science education combined with work experience, personal interests, and motivation may help students make a contribution in other organizations listed below.
